BTRG planned an ambitious July field trip. Not everything went according to plan.
First part was another sampling at Imotski, home of the one and only Vrljika soft mouth trout. The plan was to sample gaovica (Delyminichtis adspersus), just like in February and to take pictures of Soft mouth trout. The driving force for the later was Arne Hodalič, photographer, world traveller, journalist, scuba diver and cave explorer.
Half of the team returned home, others met with Saša in Montenegro and attempted to sample salmonids and other fish in Montenegro and Kosovo using the new generator. Due to bad weather, this part of the field trip ended prematurely and the team had to return home.
